TRAINING, TEACHING, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Developed lesson plans per college syllabus (e.g. English Composition II); instructed students, graded exams and papers.
• Managed students in elementary, middle, and high school classroom settings as substitute teacher; followed provided lesson plans (occasionally provided activities).
• Helped individual college students improve their academic and creative writing skills.
• Developed training programs (e.g. “Delivering Excellent Customer Service); delivered presentations to groups of 30 participants; created supporting documentation for attendees; created schedule and reported results to management.
• Trained clients and coworkers one-on-one in administration and programming of telecommunications, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), and computer systems.

• Provided desktop computer support, printer maintenance and telecommunications adds/moves/changes for 140 staff.
• Taught Sunday school and worked as Youth Group assistant for over ten years: developed age-appropriate curriculum for children K-5; helped guide youth grades 6-12 in morals-building activities.
• Volunteered/helped lead Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as parent assistant for over ten years; helped Den and Troop leaders working with scouts on numerous camping trips, fund-raisers, and service projects.

WRITING AND EDITING
• Edited and published bi-weekly newsletter for company intranet and limited hard-copy distribution; coordinated requirements with management.
• Developed cohesive group of six reporters to provide effective inter-team communication. Managed group; acted as catalyst, generating ideas and creating enthusiasm for various article ideas.
• Wrote articles to inform staff of team events and provide relief from job stress.
• Expanded newsletter from two to four pages; delegated responsibility to reporters to provide material for additional space.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
• Successfully orchestrated several office reconfigurations affecting all personnel, coordinating contractors, movers, and 140+ staff to allow for building improvements and furniture installation while maintaining full workforce on call center phones.
• Solicited and evaluated bids; purchased furniture and chairs to equip 150 workstations, training rooms, and break room.
• Prepared statistical reports (e.g. incoming calls per queue, proposed quarterly expenses) for management analysis.
• Acted as liaison to landlord for day-to-day facilities issues.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND COMPUTER SUPPORT
• Installed, configured, upgraded, and repaired computer and telecommunications systems and software; Windows XP, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher), and Adobe Photoshop.
• Installed/programmed/repaired telecommunications, voice-mail, and Automatic Call Distribution systems for multiple business locations; ordered and tested telephone lines, including T-1, POTs, VoIP.
